MATCH REPORT - SAT 25 NOVEMBER

WESTMINSTER PARK 2 - 12 BEES

Wow, what a glorious morning in the freezing snow and sleet on a pitch holding water like an Olympic swimming pool.

We think we were the only game in Chester played today and we love playing against Westminster Park as their coaches are good fun and, like us, they want to play whatever the weather! BUT seriously this was not football, it was a new sport crossed between football, skim ball, and tough mudder!

To say our boys handled the conditions better is a bit of an understatement while playing but standing our for 10 minutes sub did take its toll on a couple! Samuel and George got about their usual tackling and breaking up and Emlyn showed his class to score 6 goals from all different positions.

We scored 12 great goals and bearing in mind the conditions we moved the ball better than the previous week on the perfect 4G. Scorers were Emlyn (6), Samuel (1), Henry (1), George (1), Pablo (1), Isaac (1).

MOTM was jointly awarded to George and Emlyn. Emlyn's for his goals and George for his 10,000% effort and desire to stand up to the challenge.

WELL DONE players and parents. A really great morning which we will all remember for a long time.
